On pass in afternoon from 4 till 9 pm. To Rouen and visited the Cathedral.<br \/>\nAscended the tall steel spire. Price \u00bd Franc. Saw all the sights of the cathedral and then to supper at the \u201cBrasserie Paul\u201d Caf\u00e9 on Rue Grand Pont. Saw Equestrian Statue of Napoleon; and \u201cJeanne d\u2019Arc\u201d in white marble. Also tablets. Visited for curiosity the \u201cWhite Star Cavern\u201d and \u201cneighbouring houses\u201d. \u201cModesty forbids an account\u201d.
