Also 10 men carrying bombs.\u00a0 One man wounded &amp; some shell-shocked.<\/p>\n<p>Enemy \u2018plane shoots down 4 of ours in 25 minutes. We bring down one of his a red one at 10:15 am.\u00a0 One of our \u2018planes is brought down in flames at La Folie Wood.\u00a0 Enemy shells heavily in afternoon, doing considerable damage.\u00a0 Our faithful cook \u2013 Jack Baxter carries on thruout it all.<\/p>\n<p>Rain fall in evening &amp; night.<\/p>\n<p>Our rations come @ 1:30 am.<\/p>\n<p>Enemy shelling.<\/p>\n<p><em>*United States of America declares war on Germany.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0&#8211; showers.
