Simpson sends for me to take over the Tobacco business of the Camp.\u00a0 He states that I have to have \u201canother Allocation Board\u201d next Monday.\u00a0 This will make 5 boards in 1 month &amp; nothing definite re my return to Canada.\u00a0 I refuse his offer and await result of Medical Authorities.\u00a0 I see Adjutant Green re my Sergeancy.\u00a0 He says put them up, but not on that authority.\u00a0 How much more damned fooling around?<\/p>\n<p><em>*One of the most successful and enduring fund-raising efforts of the war were the &#8216;Smokes for the Troops&#8217; funds.
