A Child of the Wind

For 30 years John Clarke spent weeks at a time wandering through the Coast Mountains, mostly on self–guided rambles, en route accomplishing hundreds of first ascents. He personified the free spirit, the lone wanderer, captured by the mystery and magic of solitary challenges in the mountains. In 1996 he helped found and afterwards devoted his energies to the Wilderness Education Program, known as WildEd.
