Contribute to our Year-End Fundraising Campaign and Help MONOVA Continue to Build Community, Share Stories and Inspire Change
MONOVA is launching our Year-End Fundraising Campaign, to support new exhibits, programs, and services for 2024!
We rely on your contributions to help the Museum and Archives safeguard and expand our community’s archival and museum collections, build learning experiences, and inspire future generations.
Show your support by donating today and sharing with your network. From now until December 31st, your donation will be recognized as part of our fundraising goal of $50, 000.
Since opening in December 2021, tens of thousands of guests from around the world have participated in programs and events at MONOVA, and have visited our galleries and Museum Store to discover, learn, and connect to community. In this time MONOVA has hosted engaging school and public programs and events, including the thought-provoking Connections Speakers Series and Coast Salish Cultural Programs; held our first-ever Pride events this past summer; and, most recently, welcomed the community to commemorate National Day for Truth & Reconciliation throughout the month of September. In April of 2023, MONOVA’s work was recognized by the Canadian Museums Association with an award for outstanding achievement in the area of Social Impact for our Main Exhibit Gallery.
In 2024, we look forward to opening a new Feature Exhibition that will examine North Vancouver’s Indigenous activists and their far-reaching impact, expanding our Museum Store which features local and Indigenous artists and products, as well as enhancing services at the Archives. You can contribute to this work by supporting our year-end fundraising campaign, where donations will directly support new exhibits, programs, and services that inspire our community and our visitors. You can track the Year-End Campaign’s progress by revisiting this Inlet Post page until the end of the Campaign.
We hope that your leadership in helping to realize our year-end fundraising goal will inspire the community to discover MONOVA and support these important activities that build education and connection on the North Shore.
We rely on contributions, monthly or one-time gifts, to help MONOVA safeguard and expand our community’s archival and museum collections, build learning experiences and inspire future generations.
Donations are accepted through the Friends of the North Vancouver Museum & Archives Society, Registered Charity No. 89031 1772 RR0001.

We respectfully acknowledge that MONOVA: Museum and Archives of North Vancouver is located on the traditional lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations, whose ancestors have lived here for countless generations. We are grateful for the opportunity to live, work and learn with them on unceded Coast Salish Territory.
