Storyteller - Doreen Armitage

Doreen Armitage 'At the age of 89, he is happy and enthusiastic, leads a healthy and active lifestyle, and loves mountains.' Howard Rode became, for museum volunteer researcher Doreen Armitage, an exemplary man. She herself is a lover of education, knowledge and history, fascinated by the world around her. Doreen has four authored books focused on local and marine history – one concerning Howe Sound, another about Burrard Inlet, and two others concerning tugboaters, fishermen, and the working waterfront.
