The Climber’s Guide to the Coastal Ranges
Dick Culbert
It is astounding that 250 first ascents can be laid to the record of a single individual. Yet Dick Culbert’s main purpose initially in climbing in the 1960s, along with "peak bagging" was to compile and verify as much information as possible about the Coast Range mountains. His landmark "Climber's Guide to the Coastal Ranges" appeared in 1965, and has provided solid and crucial information for mountaineers ever since.
