Went to Doctor Skelton of Stokes and got a medical certificate for 3 weeks extension.

To Church with Mrs Charles Anthony Draycot at Christ’s Church Gosport.

Went to Mr. and Mrs. Walker’s residence and had social evening. Sang O Canada, Maple Leaf etc:

Went for a walk and met Rifleman Lawrence – went with him to look over the Seaport gas-works.
Very interesting.

Transcribing manuscript regarding my book on Draycot family.
No mail from Vancouver for a month – strange
Wednesday 3 March 1915 – rain
At 10 am to Portsmouth Library researching for material for book on Draycot family.
Back home at 3 pm and had dinner.
Played cards with the [Martin ] till 5 pm.
Tuesday 2 March 1915 – high winds
At Portsmouth Reference Library researching
“Princess Pats” make a gallant charge at Ypres and drive the Germans from trenches.

St David’s Day.
To Portsmouth Library for reference for my book.
Matthew Pearson sends me a reprint of marriages in Leicestershire registers.
*Saint David’s Day – A national day of celebration held on March 1st each year in Wales. It is the feast day of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales.
