Sent telegram to Orderly Room Sergeant of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry regarding extension of furlough at 8:30 am.
Sent letters to Ballen, Brynwell, Menai Bridge regarding Lieutenant M Blake, killed at the front.

Received telegram from Colonel Blake about his son being unofficially reported killed. Also one from Ballen, Brynmel, Menai Bridge to same affect.

Went for a walk and met Rifleman Lawrence – went with him to look over the Seaport gas-works.
