Bought more lumber from J. M. Fromme. 1 x 6” sheathing, some 2 x 3 & a window frame.
Loaned Mr. S. T. Nursey some photos & curios for window display. He who did not go to war, but got married instead – to dodge it!

Still in khaki.
Unofficial announcement that armistice is signed. Vancouver receives the news very cool.
Gave two of my pen & ink sketches to the engravers to have blocks – or cuts, made.
To Lynn Valley at 2 pm. Mr. & Mrs. Nye call.
Paid Mr. J. M. Fromme $69.39 for lumber. Return to Hospital at 11.30 pm.

Working on creek, removing logs, etc.  Also do some cribbing along side of it.

Mr. Fromme gives me sack of apples.  Mr. [Nursery] gives me sack of potatoes.  I stay at Jack Nye’s the night.
