To Creig’s in morning and Alder Hey Hospital in afternoon. Took photographs there.

Went for spin on bike around Huyton, Roby and Gateacre with Harry. Back home at 4:30 pm.
Went down to City on bike for film etc. Met Private Burns of Princess Pats.

Printing photos which I took yesterday.
To Creig’s and Upton’s in afternoon.
Wednesday 9 June 1915 – fine
In afternoon to the Quarrie at Black Horse Lane and took photos and played games with the Simcock family and Miss Gladys – also Harry and wife and child.
Tuesday 8 June 1915
On to Liverpool.
Went down town with Harry and made purchases.
Lloyd’s garage burns down and £2,000 loss. No insurance! (Lloyd’s of Stafford)
Monday 7 June 1915
Left Stafford in evening for Liverpool and arrived at 8:30 pm. Took my bike also. Had tea with Professor and Miss Bradbury of William Salt Archaeological Society Library.
Had tea in Stafford with Edith (Mrs C.V Green).
Sunday 6 June 1915 – fine
To St Mary’s Church Stafford in morning. In evening for a walk with Cyril and Edith among the May blossoms and fields.
Wrote letters to Matthew Pearson, Ernest Draycot of Gosport.
Saturday 5 June 1915 – a gale blowing
All morning looking thro’ the Registers and found interesting items regarding Draycot family. Left Heanor after looking in at [loses?]. At 12:30 for Stafford via Derby, Burton and Abbots Bromley. Called on Henry Draycot of Derby and had tea. Also called at Infirmary to see Mrs Smith. Called at Rectory at Abbots Bromley and gave wonderful Brass to John Draycot A.D. [1444]. Had tea at Newboro and arrive at Stafford at 10 pm. Called at Mrs Smith and home at 11:30 pm. Luckily Cyril and Edith not in bed.
Friday 4 June 1915 – fine
At 10:30 I leave for Heanor via Uttoxeter and Derby, and Ilkeston and arrive in Heanor at 4:30 pm. I use my ordinary cycle and travelled 56 miles in the day. Had tea at Rectory with Reverend and Mrs Corfield. I look thro Part of Registers with Mrs Crookes the Verger. Slept at Market Arms.

Thursday 3 June 1915 – fine
Met Mr Banks Senior and walked with him to [Leamens]. He invites me to tea. His son is ill in bed.
To tea and supper at Banks. Show interesting views of Canada
