Girl Guide Pioneer

Phyllis Munday, furthest right in the photograph, loved the outdoors, and formed a Girl Scouts troop in Vancouver in 1910. Later, the troop joined the Girl Guides. They are seen posed here in their full dress uniforms, with a Union Jack flag on an expedition to the top of Grouse Mountain. Read more.
